Welcome to

Southern Lakes Memory Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Our mission is to create a caring and supportive community that celebrates and shares memories and history of the Southern Lakes region. We offer a range of services to help individuals with dementia, including our social respite programs, training for long-term care facilities and home care agencies. Our goal is to help individuals with dementia and their caregivers feel supported, engaged and valued. Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.

Our Mission

At Southern Lakes Memory Project, we seek to support, empower, and provide high quality resources to individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Our success isn't measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve. Learn more about what we do below.

Residential Facility Training

We provide training and education for Skilled Nursing Home Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, and Home Care Agencies.

Memory Matters

A social respite program that is both cognitively stimulating, but also fun and relaxing. Family caregivers can recharge and get some well needed respite as well.
